FurBuddies™ Cat Water Fountain Stainless Steel

Love this water fountain and so do my two cats. It holds enough water for 5 or so days and was easy to assemble. Cleaning it is a bit cumbersome since scum gets in all the nooks and crannies of the pump, but you are given a tiny brush to help with cleaning. You definitely need to replace the filters regularly. We do have well water, so I'm sure mine gets gross more quickly.

We purchased this fountain because it’s stainless steel. We have 7 cats and put out 4 water bowls, then clean and refill daily. Often the cats will touch the water with their paw to create ripples before they drink. We have one cat loves to drink out of the faucet so we thought his would be purrfect. It is very quiet and all of the cats are curious, some drink from the bowl, as there is always ripples and others from the spout. It’s very attractive with the blue light in the sight window showing the water level. We have a 120v duplex receptacle above their feeding pad so we use the supplied 5v transformer plug to power the fountain. I’m considering adding a motion sensor receptacle so the fountain isn’t running 24/7. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend if you have a cat.

It's been several months and my cats love this thing. I almost never see them drink from it, but I know they drink from it because I can see the water level decrease significantly overnight and they pee more in their litter box. If I move the cat fountain at all, they sit by it's original location and mope until I put it back. It took them a couple weeks to transition from drinking out of cups of water to the water fountain. I had to get on my hands and knees and drink from the water fountain for my cats to see, then they understood it was safe drinking water.

I clean this regularly, at least once a week. My cats are picky about water quality so they let me know if it needs to be cleaned sooner. We make sure to use bottled water as that stays fresher longer. There are a couple nooks and crannies that are hard to clean, but not impossible. The cleaning brush that comes with this is very handy for those areas. Also, the filters do keep the water fresher longer, but I replace them every other week to be safe. The fountain holds a lot of water, so it prevents my cats from tipping it over. They've tried to knock it over, but haven't been able too. It's fairly quiet when it's on and the light doubles as a night light in the dark for them. We've had this for several months and it still functions perfectly. Worth the money!

I cannot stand the LED light. Cats do not need light to see in the dark and human does not need a light in this fountain. The light is very bright and very disturbing at night. It's an unnecessary expense to produce.

The product itself mimics a faucet and so if you have a cat that loves to drink from a faucet they will love this fountain. I tried 2 others before this one and my cats would not use them. Both cats useless fountain. The window is great! I love being able to see the water level.

My cat decided that she wanted to jump in the tub each morning to get a drink. So we had to turn the facet on and wait till she is done. Well I went a looking for a fountain and came across this one. I wanted something easy to clean so I am going to give this one a try. It's been a month so far and all is good. The water flow is perfect it's like a perfect stream. The motor is really quiet, I can not even hear it run. The good thing is, if you do hear anything from the fountain that means it needs water, the pump is trying to work but no water there. Yes sometimes we get busy and forget to refill it. This does hold a lot of water that is good. So far this is working like a charm and no complaints.
